CHARLOTTE, N.C. — This Plaza Midwood self-pour beer concept makes its official debut Saturday.

Pinhouse brings 70 self-pour taps, duckpin bowling and live music to the neighborhood. Doors open at 10 a.m. Saturday.
Pinhouse is the second concept for Rich Moyer and Drew Nesemeier. The duo has invested roughly $750,000 into that space.
That roughly 6,000-square-foot building is located at 2306 Central Ave.
“We wanted to provide Charlotte with something we hadn’t seen before,” says Scotty Kent, director of marketing for Hoppin’ Brands.

It builds on the brand’s successful self-pour venture, Hoppin’ in South End. The brand also has plans for a third self-pour establishment and concert venue, called Studio, on South Boulevard. Construction is expected to begin later this year.
