CALDWELL COUNTY, N.C. — The Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office is getting a boost to its emergency response capabilities thanks to a $16,000 grant from the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation.
New automated external defibrillators, or AEDs, will replace aging units used throughout the sheriff’s office.
Officials say the updated equipment will help deputies and staff respond during medical emergencies.
