CHARLOTTE, N.C. — People could soon get inked in uptown Charlotte if the city gives the OK.
Michael Drossos wants to open a tattoo parlor called Uptown Arts on North Tryon Street.
Drossos said he moved to Charlotte from Los Angeles with hopes of owning his own business.
Right now, tattoo parlors are not allowed in uptown Charlotte.
Monday night was the first public hearing on the zoning issue.
