CHARLOTTE — Police are no longer looking for a 61-year-old man who was last seen at a northwest Charlotte gas station on Wednesday.
Detectives said on Thursday that they were searching for Barry Dale Mason, who was last seen on around 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Circle K on Old Little Rock Road.
The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons also issued a Silver Alert for Mason, who officials said has a cognitive impairment. He was last seen wearing black jogger sweatpants with white stripes and a grey shirt with white stripes.
Just before 1 p.m., police said Mason had been found safe and was reunited with his family.

He was also last seen driving his black 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche with North Carolina license plate HJW-1634.
