GASTONIA, N.C. — A small plane made an emergency landing in a Gastonia field Saturday night, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.
Emergency responders are on the scene near Linwood Road.

The FAA said the landing happened at 8:15 p.m. and that the pilot was the only person on board. It is unclear at this time if the pilot was hurt.
No other details have been released at this point.
