State officials preparing for vaccine amidst concerns over safety

CHARLOTTE — Vaccines for COVID-19 are being produced at an incredible speed, which has some people -- and scientists -- worried. They said the work is moving too quickly and not every side effect has been discovered or explored.

Some companies have tried to ease those fears by taking the unusual step of releasing details about how they’re doing their tests.
