IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. — Some people with landlines in Iredell County might experience difficulty when trying to call 911, officials said.
The issues stem from a networking issue with AT&T’s central office in Statesville.

Residents who try calling 911 from a landline beginning with certain numbers might have trouble getting through.
There is no estimate on when the issue will be fixed, officials said.
Those who need to reach 911 but are having trouble can also use the non-emergency number: 704-878-3039. For additional questions, call the AT&T resolution center at 1-888-243-1911.
