CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A man died from a single-vehicle wreck that happened Sunday morning in east Charlotte, police said.
Zemmie Lee Pendergrass Jr., 34, was driving a 2006 Cadillac when he lost control and hit a tree at the intersection of E. W.T. Harris Boulevard and Randy Drive.
He was taken to the hospital where he died Tuesday morning.
No other injuries were reported.
Speed and alcohol are contributing factors in this crash, police said.
