Sprouts Farmers Market to add store in Steele Creek area

CHARLOTTE — Nearly five years after making its debut in the Charlotte region, Sprouts Farmers Market will soon add a second store here. That’s according to The Charlotte Observer, which reports the grocer has taken over a space formerly occupied by Earth Fare in the Steele Creek area.

The roughly 24,000-square-foot store is at 14124 Steele Creek Road, in the Rivergate shopping center, the daily newspaper reports. Sprouts will employ around 100 full- and part-time workers there.
