STANLY COUNTY, N.C. — Stanly County commissioners will sign off on a financing plan to revamp the county's emergency communications system.
The county commission had to approve the agreement.
It will cost nearly a million dollars in the first year, but officials said it is necessary because the current 911 system is nearly 40 years old.
