STATESVILLE, N.C. — A Statesville girl got the surprise of a lifetime after President Donald Trump responded to one of her letters.

Abigail Little loves to read. She wrote a letter to the president about literacy and all the books she has read never expecting him to write back, but he did.
Trump encouraged her to never stop learning and to look for ways to make positive change in her community.
