SALISBURY, N.C. — The Red Cross is helping two families after a house fire Sunday in Salisbury.
The homeowner, Nellie Lynch, told Channel 9 a problem with the stove sparked the fire on East Liberty Street.

Lynch said the fire started so fast she barely had time to get out.
"I just had time enough to pick up my grandbabies, one under this arm and one under that arm, and brought all that love out with me. I just thank God we are alive," Lynch said.
She said another family was living with her. No one was hurt.
