Surveillance image released after man robs Publix store

ROCK HILL — Police said a man robbed the Publix grocery store in Rock Hill Monday afternoon.

According to the Rock Hill Police Department, a white man wearing a black sweatshirt and white baseball cap robbed the pharmacy section of an undetermined amount of prescription drugs.

The store is located on North Cherry Road.

The suspect said he had a gun, but did not show one and kept his hand in his pocket the entire time.

Police released a photo from the store's surveillance system.
