Target secures $20.8M permit for new store

ROCK HILL, S.C. — Target Corp.’s upcoming Rock Hill store has taken a step forward.

A $20.8 million York County building permit has been issued for a 144,791-square-foot store. County records list the address as 5319 Old York Road.

Target (NYSE:TGT) will be the anchor tenant at Rise Partners’ Newport Commons development. That 97-acre, mixed-use development is at Old York and Adnah Church roads, between Rock Hill and York.
