TAYLORSVILLE, N.C. — A 67-year-old Taylorsville man faces a felony charge after a stabbing Tuesday in Alexander County left a victim hospitalized with a wound to the neck. Authorities arrested Victor Keith Boles following the incident in the area of Blue Ridge Lane, the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office said.
Alexander County Communications received a report of the stabbing on Tuesday. Responding deputies located the victim suffering from a neck wound on Blue Ridge Lane in Taylorsville and emergency personnel transported the victim to a regional hospital, where they are currently listed in stable condition.
Following an investigation into the incident, authorities charged Boles with felony assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury. Boles was booked into the Alexander County Detention Center, where he is being held without bond.
Boles is scheduled to make his first court appearance on Sept. 8.
