UNION COUNTY, N.C. — A community is rallying behind a therapy German shepherd dog who was attacked by a pack of coyotes in Union County.
Gabriel was attacked in his own yard last month, according a page set up to help raise money for his surgeries and medications. His owners said he suffered two separate internal injuries, a spinal injury and both front legs were seriously damaged.
His owners said his front legs aren’t healing properly and will need surgery to repair damage to his ligaments and tendons in order to walk again.
