HICKORY, N.C. — A train hit a car early Friday morning, seriously injuring three people. The train accident happened near 17th Street NW in Hickory.
Firefighters say the Norfolk Southern train shoved the car several blocks.
One person has been airlifted to the hospital. No word yet on their condition. Another person was taken to a nearby hospital; no word on the third person’s condition.
