CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Within the next two months, developers will break ground on a major entertainment attraction in Charlotte.
On Monday, officials with the golf entertainment complex, Topgolf, told Channel 9 that they plan to open their first Charlotte location early next year.
The 3-level venue will be on a 14-acre lot in Steele Creek near Interstate 485 and Arrowood Road.

Channel 9 reported last year that Topgolf moved the location there after plans failed to revitalize an abandoned strip mall off Independence Boulevard.
