CHARLOTTE, N.C. — People in Alabama are still dealing with devastation after a deadly tornado tore through the state over the weekend.

This recent tragedy can happen anywhere. There are an average of 30 tornadoes every year in North Carolina. That’s why schools across the state did a tornado drill Wednesday morning.
