CHARLOTTE, NC — A warning from Charlotte-Douglas International Airport could have you taking a second look at your bank account. Travelers who parked at the airport may have been overcharged.

Airport officials say anyone who parked in the various lots at the airport since February 10 could be impacted.

They say the problem began with a parking software upgrade. Since then, there have been issues with credit card payment billing, including delays in posting transactions and overcharging drivers.

Anyone with questions about their billing can contact parkingqa@cltairport.com or call (704) 359-4631.

Officials say they're working with the parking revenue provider to resolve the issue. They want customers to know there is no security breach, but travelers should check their bank accounts.
