North Carolina troopers said Harley Wallace crossed the center line just a few yards away from the South Carolina line on Rocky River Road, slamming into Janet Carter Wednesday.
Wallace was killed in the crash and Carter was taken to Carolinas Medical Center – Main to be treated.
Carter was treated and released, according to news partner the Enquirer Journal.
