UNION COUNTY, N.C. — Troopers said a man was killed when he walked out in front of a box truck in Union County Monday morning.
The crash happened on Rogers Road at High Shoals Drive.
Officials aren't sure why the man was in the street, but said he had no reason to cross there.
The driver isn't facing any charges.
