CHESTER COUNTY, S.C. — Two men have been killed in a head-on collision in Chester County.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol says 63-year-old Lawrence Rambert of Chester was driving a pickup when he crossed the centerline and struck another pickup south of Lowrys on Tuesday afternoon.
Coroner Terry Tinker says 71-year-old William Alvin Chisholm of Chester was driving the second truck. The coroner says Chisholm died at the scene. Rembert was taken to Chester Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
Troopers say both drivers were wearing seat belts.
There was no one else in the trucks.
