GASTON COUNTY, N.C. — The Highway Patrol said they are investigating a fatal crash involving a motorcycle on Lowell Spencer Mountain Road in Gaston County.
The crash happened right outside George Poston Park just before 2 p.m. Friday.
Chopper 9 flew over the scene and spotted a minivan with a smashed front end and windshield. The remains of a motorcycle are lying off the roadway.
