CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are investigating after two people were hurt when two buses collided Thursday morning in northwest Charlotte.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said a child was on one of the buses but was not hurt. Two other people were taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash happened just before 9 a.m. on Brookshire Boulevard and Hovis Road.

Officers were working to figure out how the crash happened. Channel 9′s Anthony Kustura said he saw crews tow a wrecked van from the scene.
No other details have been released.
