Union Co. to have public hearing on 175-foot water tower plan

UNION COUNTY, N.C. — Residents in Union County will hear more about a controversial plan to build a 175-foot-tall water tower.

County officials have submitted an application to build the 1.5-million-gallon water tank that would fix water pressure issues on the county's eastern side.

There is a public hearing on Monday night at 7 p.m. at Weddington High School.
