CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Attorneys representing former Charlotte School of Law students have entered into a tentative agreement with the school.
The students filed lawsuits after the Department of Education pulled the school’s federal loan funding and the state pulled its license in 2016.

Some students were left with hundreds of thousands of dollars of debt and no degree.
In court Monday, judges agreed to a 60-day stay in the case to allow attorneys to work out details of the agreement.
