The U.S. women’s team won their fifth straight women’s FIBA World Cup title after defeating France on Sunday, 97-79.

The Americans have won 36 straight World Cup games, dating to the semifinals of the 2006 World Cup, where they lost to Russia.

This was the second-youngest team the Americans have sent to a World Cup. Players included Angel Reese, Paige Bueckers, and Caitlin Clark.
