CHARLOTTE — Veteran restaurateur Jim Noble plans to open his namesake restaurant in Myers Park in June.
The Jimmy will be located in a roughly 3,600-square-foot space at Selwyn Corners. It was formerly Nolen Kitchen and has been vacant since November 2017.
Noble signed a deal for that space at 2839 Selwyn Ave. in February 2020; the pandemic has delayed its opening.
The restaurant is hiring for all positions. Applicants can apply at Rooster’s SouthPark.

“Everything is coming along,” Noble says. “We’re getting close.”
The Jimmy aims to be a neighborhood restaurant. It will draw inspiration from the trattorias and bistros along the Mediterranean coasts of Italy and France.
