BOONE, N.C. — April Fools’ Day was Thursday, but no one is joking about the weather that arrived in the North Carolina mountains Wednesday night.
The changes in the North Carolina mountains were dramatic -- 25 to 30 degrees colder by Thursday morning and a chance of snow.
