CHARLOTTE — Grammy-winning rock band Weezer brought its “Weezer: The Gathering” tour to Charlotte this weekend to a packed crowd at the Spectrum Center.
The tour is in support of the band’s newest album, The Gold Album, and the crowd sang along to classic hits like “Buddy Holly,” “Say it Ain’t So,” and “The Sweater Song” through the night.
Opening the tour on Saturday were The Shins and Silversun Pickups.
