What’s being done to keep Charlotte’s pedestrians and bicyclists safe?

CHARLOTTE — Anyone who walks or bikes around Charlotte knows it can be risky.

Of 67 fatalities on Charlotte’s roads last year, 23 of them were pedestrians and two were bicycists.

Channel 9 is looking into what’s being done to protect pedestrians, and one man’s personal mission to make the city’s roads safe for everyone.

“You can save somebody if you make an effort.”
