MOORESVILLE, N.C. — A woman has died after being thrown from a wagon ride at Lazy 5 Ranch in Mooresville over the weekend, her son confirmed on social media.
Eddie Quesenberry said in a Facebook post Thursday that his mother, Ruth, had died following the incident.
Earlier this week, Lazy 5 Ranch said three people were thrown from a wagon ride after a tree branch fell, spooking the horses and causing them to take off.
The circumstances surrounding the woman’s death have not been fully detailed publicly.
Channel 9 has reached out to Lazy 5 Ranch for comment and will update if we receive a response.
