ROCK HILL, S.C. — The Olympics is set to begin in seven days, and athletes from around the world are working hard to perform their best in Tokyo.

Professional BMX rider Domenica Azuero, the only woman to compete in the event out of Ecuador, is training at the BMX facility in Rock Hill that was built in 2014 to attract elite riders.
“My story can motivate so many girls to keep doing. We are strong, and I think that’s why I want the girls to watch that we can do whatever we want ... We can do amazing things,” said Azuero.
Azuero wants to inspire girls from her country and around the world.
