CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Rescue crews freed a worker trapped by a tree in south Charlotte Tuesday morning.
Mecklenburg County's Park and Rec Department said a worker was cutting down trees at the 6-Mile Creek Greenway when he was hurt.
Crews had to use ATVs to get to the man and bring him out.
Paramedics took him to Carolinas Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
