Firefighters: Wind causes fire to spread quickly destroying Clover home

CLOVER, S.C. — Firefighters are on the scene of a mobile home fire in York County.

A Channel 9 camera crew was kept back from the scene, but was able to take photos of the damage.

The Clover home was destroyed quickly, partially because strong winds caused it to burn fast, firefighters said.

Investigators told Channel 9 that no one was home at the time and a mail carrier spotted the flames after they had been burning for about 20 minutes.
