According to Zillow, it would take about five roommates, each making the minimum wage, to afford a two-bedroom rental, which is higher than the national average.
The company also says that a regular two-bedroom in Charlotte costs more than $1,500 a month, and with minimum-wage workers only making $7.25 an hour, four roommates would be needed to pay rent.
