CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Metrolina Regional Scholars Academy again scored high marks in a new ranking of top public schools in the Charlotte metro area for 2021. This particular ranking looks solely at middle schools, including charter and magnet schools.
The Charlotte charter school ranked as the best public middle school both here and in North Carolina, as it also did in the ranking of public elementary schools. Nationally, Metrolina placed at No. 40 out of more than 25,000 public middle schools included in the ranking.
That’s according to Pittsburgh-based research and review site Niche, which just released its seventh annual “Best Schools” rankings.
