ROCK HILL, S.C. — Police arrested a man they said was intoxicated after he shot himself on accident Tuesday night in a Rock Hill restaurant.
Officers said Johnny Valdez was sitting at the bar at Empire Pizza when the gun he was carrying went off and shot him in the leg.
Police said Valdez initially told them someone else had shot him.
Valdez’s injuries were minor, according to investigators, and police arrested him after the incident.
