HALIFAX COUNTY, N.C. — Police in a small eastern North Carolina town are looking for a Charlotte man accused of a triple shooting that left one person dead.
The shooting happened in Scotland Neck, in Halifax County.
Officers said Tyquan Powell of Charlotte and Lamonte Lloyd shot and killed Jimmy Daniels.
Two other people in Daniels' car were also shot.
Officials said Powell was visiting family in the area and do not have a motive, though they did say the shooting was gang related.
Channel 9 looked into Powell's past and found he's been arrested six times in the past few years. Most of those charges are for robberies with a weapon.
Call police if you know where Powell is.
