GASTON COUNTY, N.C. — A deadly crash left one person dead in Gaston County Friday afternoon.
The accident has left investigators with many unanswered questions.
Troopers said Phillip Palmer Jr. was killed when he ran off of Dallas High Shoals Road and hit a tree stump.
Investigators told the Gaston Gazette that speed or any impairing substance did not cause the crash.
They are now looking for witnesses to help them figure out what caused the wreck.
