Police Think Convenience Store Break-Ins Are Related

MINT HILL, N.C.,None — Police think break-ins at two Mint Hill convenience stores are related.

Two men broke a glass window at the Kwick Mart on Albemarle Road in the early-morning hours of July 18, Mint Hill police said. They stole merchandise and fled in a dark green, late 1990s Dodge Caravan, police said.

On July 31, two men broke into the Earp's BP gas station on Wilgrove-Mint Hill Road and stole store merchandise, investigators said. The burglars' vehicle matched the description of the one in the July 18 break-in, police said.
