CHARLOTTE, N.C.,None — One of Charlotte's most historic and popular markets has reopened its doors in a new location after closing last June.
Reid's Fine Foods is opened its new store in Myers Park on Tuesday after moving from its former location at the Seventh Street Station in uptown Charlotte.
The 5,000-square-foot grocery store will feature a full range of prepared soups, salads and sandwiches.

Reid's will also offer catering and cooking classes.
The new location is in Selwyn Corners, at the corner of Selwyn Avenue and Colony Road, in Myers Park.

Reid's has been in Charlotte since 1928.
On Wednesday, a public meeting will be held about turning Reid's former location, at Seventh Street in uptown, into the City Green Market, an indoor farmer's market.
