CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Tour De Food is coming to uptown Charlotte on three Saturdays in August.
Tour participants visit restaurants, bars and specialty food shops that are locally owned and operated. At each stop, small plates to taste are served, and chefs and owners meet with the tours when they are available.
The gourmet food tour in uptown will start at Pure Pizza at the 7th Street Market and then make its way through the city streets. Tour participants will sample farm-to-table restaurants, wines, pastries and more.
The participating restaurants include Harvest Moon Grille, Wooden Vine, Valhalla Pub & Eatery, Pure Pizza, Mimosa Grill, Amelie’s, Mert’s Heart and Soul, and Roosters.
