Formerly conjoined twins speak in new video shared by overjoyed mom

NEW YORK — Twin boys separated in a risky surgery earlier this year are still recovering in a New York hospital, but they are feeling well enough to hold hands and repeat "Dada" in unison.

Jadon and Anias McDonald captured the country’s attention as CNN chronicled their separation journey. The boys were born conjoined at the head. In October, they successfully underwent separation surgery at just 13 months old.

Nicole McDonald shared a video to Facebook Tuesday evening showing Jadon and Anias lying side-by-side, holding hands and saying “Dada.”
