Fathers and sons on a fishing trip had a once-in-a-lifetime surprise and quite a fish story to tell.
What appeared to be a great white shark jumped out of the water to get a little snack - some freshly caught fish from one of the boy's fishing lines, CNN reported.
The conservancy told CNN it was a great white.
It happened in Rock Harbor in Orleans, Massachusetts, according to the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy.
It's not odd to see great whites in Cape Cod Bay. That's where they live during the summer. But those who are frequent the Cape Cod Bay beaches are being surprised at how many sharks have been seen --12 in one week in June -- and how close they're getting to people, CNN reported.
