Oklahoma woman accused of calling in bomb threat to car dealership

Police in Oklahoma arrested Althea Kay Baker in connection with a bomb threat called in to a car dealership in Altus.

ALTUS, Okla. — An Oklahoma woman is accused of making a bomb threat at a car dealership in Altus, KSWO reported.

Aletha Kay Baker, 54, of Lawton, was arrested in connection with the bomb threat call to the Four Stars Toyota dealership in Altus, the television station reported. She was charged with making a telephone threat of violence, according to Jackson County court records.

Authorities issued a warrant for Baker, who had recently purchased a vehicle from the dealership, the television station reported.

Altus police Chief Tim Murphy said the threat was called in at 9:30 a.m. Thursday. A search revealed no explosives at the dealership, KSWO reported.

Baker is being held in lieu of $100,000 bond, KSWO reported. She is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday, according to Jackson County court records.
