Video shows two people standing close together arguing, before one is punched in the face with so much force that the victim falls to the ground.

The special meeting was to discuss the Glastonbury High School mascot, which was changed to the Guardians from the Tomahawks last year, WVIT reported.

Some people want the name changed back and argued there was not enough input put into the change originally, WFSB reported.

The fight happened after the public comment portion of the meeting, during a 10-minute recess, and the entire incident was recorded by a cell phone camera, WTIC reported.

After the fight, the board adjourned without a vote, The Associated Press reported.
