Do you have about 274 days of PTO just sitting there, not being used? Then Royal Caribbean may have an experience just for you.
The cruise line announced the “longest and most comprehensive” cruise around the world.
The nine-month voyage will start on Dec. 10, 2023, from Miami.
The “Ultimate World Cruise,” as it is being billed, will stop at more than 150 locations as the Serenade of the Seas sails around the globe, USA Today reported.
It will stop at all seven continents, visiting 150 destinations in 65 countries. Fifty-seven of the stops will be exclusive to the itinerary.
Cruise Critic reported some of the locations passengers will visit include:
- Glaciers of Antarctica
- Taj Mahal
- Machu Picchu
- Mount Fuji
It will return to Miami on Sept. 10, 2024.
The cost of the once-in-a-lifetime trip comes in at $60,999 per person plus taxes and fees.
But don’t worry if the cost of money or time is too much to handle.
Royal Caribbean said passengers can sail on four expedition multi-month cruises on the ship including:
- Round the Horn: Americas and Antarctica Expedition, Dec. 10, 2023, to Feb. 11, 2024.
- Wonders of Asia and the Pacific Expedition, Feb. 11 to May 9, 2024.
- Middle East Treasures and Marvels of the Med Expedition: May 9 to July 10, 2024.
- Capitals of Culture, July 10 to Sept. 10, 2024.
The booking for the full cruise is open now for Royal Caribbean’s Crown & Anchor Society Diamond members and members above that status. General booking will open Oct. 27. Bookings for individual expeditions will open in December, USA Today reported.
