ORLANDO, Fla. — Monday morning featured a rough commute for some drivers in Central Florida, after a truck spilled the load of pavers it was carrying, leaving the road a literal mess.
The Orlando Police Department tweeted a photo of the pavers, showing them stretching across at least two lanes of traffic and covering the shoulder of I-4 in Orlando.
The crash happed on the busy road near the Florida’s Turnpike, shortly before 6 a.m., WFTV reported.
WFTV sent its drone into the air, showing the slowed traffic, as well as the crews working to clean up the pavers and push them onto the shoulder of the road to clear the lanes for traffic.
Officials did not say how the pavers came off of the truck.
